Asia-Pacific Film Festival

The Federation of Motion Picture Producers in Asia-Pacific hosts an annual film festival called the Asia-Pacific Film Festival.

In 1954, the Southeast Asian Film Festival was organized for the first time in Tokyo, Japan. Hong Kong, the Federation of Malaya, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Thailand were among the participants, in addition to Japan. The festival’s name was changed to Asia-Pacific Film Festival when it was moved to a different nation each year.
