The Blue Dragon Film Awards, also known as the popular award, is an annual awards event held in South Korea by Sports Chosun, a sister brand of the Chosun Ilbo, to recognize excellence in film. Only blockbusters and popular films with great creative merit that were released in the previous year are considered for the Blue Dragon Film Awards.
