My Father is a South Korean film released in 2007. The film is based on a true tale of an adopted boy who travels to South Korea in quest of his biological parents. During his hunt, he runs across his biological father, a death row inmate. James, who works as an army captain in the United States Forces Korea, is played by Daniel Henney. He inquires as to why his father is on death row and learns information that he had always longed to know. Then he discovers that more and more realities about his father and his life are revealed. It is directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk.
