Lee Young-ae, Lee Byung-hun, and Song Kang-ho feature in the South Korean mystery thriller Joint Security Area. It was directed by Park Chan-wook and is based on Park Sang-novel Yeon’s DMZ. The film was shot on location in South Korea and is about an inquiry into the situation surrounding a deadly gunshot event within the DMZ, the heavily guarded border between North and South Korea.
