The Simple Life is a reality television show that airs in the United States. From December 2, 2003, until August 5, 2007, the series aired on ABC. The first three seasons aired on Fox, while the latter two were broadcast on E! The show follows two rich socialites, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, as they engage in low-paying manual occupations such as cleaning rooms, agricultural work, fast-food restaurant serving, and working as camp counselors.
