The Age of Shadows is a 2016 South Korean period action thriller film written by Lee Ji-min and Park Jong-dae and directed by Kim Jee-woon. Song Kang-ho and Gong Yoo feature in the film, which is set in Shanghai and Seoul in the 1920s. It was chosen as South Korea’s entry for the 89th Academy Awards’ Best Foreign Language Film category, however it was not nominated.
